Upcoming Speaker:
Sarah Ward — March 24, 7:30 p.m.
Wayland High School Auditorium
Wayland PTO and SEPAC are proud to host Sarah Ward, an internationally recognized expert in executive function. With more than 25 years of experience supporting individuals with ADHD, autism, and other learning differences, she has consulted with over 2,000 schools worldwide, serves as adjunct faculty at the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions, and has provided EF training to Wayland Public Schools teachers and staff over the past year. Everything You Want To Know About Power School and Parent Square

What is PowerSchool?
It’s the new “Student Information System” for the Wayland Public Schools. It replaces Home Access Center (HAC).

What can I view in PowerSchool?
  • Class schedules
  • Grades
  • Attendance
  • Class assignments, due date and missing assignments
  • Report cards (Only the High School can view historical grades.)
  • Teachers names and email addresses

How do I access it?
Once you have an account set up, you can login via the web interface or the mobile app.

How do I set up an account?
Around August 15th, the primary account holder for your student (listed as “mother) should have received an email from WAYLAND PUBLIC SCHOOLS. The subject line said “PowerSchool Account Change.”

What do I do if I can’t find this email or I have trouble logging in?

I’m not sure if I signed up for ParentSquare. Have I missed important information?
No, the school still sends all communication by email.
